“As a former armed forces officer and CISO, choosing the right HSM vendor was a critical decision. Beyond global standards like FIPS, geopolitical resilience was an important factor. CryptoBind gave us the sovereignty we needed and the engineering we could stake a career on.”
Enterprise Cybersecurity · India · UAE · 2025 – 2026
From compliance stress to total security confidence — a brand system for the cryptography that quietly holds a country together.
AI-driven threats, rising fraud, and evolving data laws are the daily reality for CryptoBind’s customers. We designed a brand and interface that turns that chaos into control — and treats the most technically dense category on the internet like the piece of critical infrastructure it actually is.
What we were hired to build.
Cryptobind is the flagship data-protection and cryptography suite from JISA Softech, India’s first indigenous OEM of Hardware Security Modules. We were engaged on the product-facing side of the platform — the marketing site and the dashboards through which enterprise buyers evaluate HSMs, tokenization, key management, PKI and data-masking modules used by banks, insurers, payment processors and government bodies.
Confidence over complexity.
We started with the buyer, not the product. Cryptobind sells into deeply technical CISO and compliance teams, so we mapped the decision journey — from “does this meet RBI/SEBI/DPDP requirements?” to “will it drop into our existing infrastructure?” — and structured every page around a question a buyer actually asks. Information architecture was organised by use case (Aadhaar Data Vault, Payment HSM, Quantum-Safe Data Protection) rather than by feature list.
“Design in this category is not about looking secure. It is about making a serious buyer feel calm enough to keep reading. Everything else follows from that.”
No hero-video montage. A serif headline, a short honest sub, a number that means something, and one action.
180 crore. 35,000 TPS. FIPS 140-3 Level 3. 400+ databases. These are the identity, not stats tucked under a fold.
DPDP, HIPAA, GDPR are structured, browseable shelves with real answers to real auditor questions — not badges tucked in a footer.
A modular, content-driven site.
We shipped a modular, content-driven site with clean product taxonomies, deployment-ready technical spec pages, downloadable datasheets and enquiry flows that route directly to sales. Dashboards were designed for administrators managing keys, tokens and certificates at scale — with dense information design that still felt calm to work in.
FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified, 35,000 TPS peak, keys never leave the boundary. Active-active failover for BFSI workloads.
Secrets and sensitive-data vault inside the HSM boundary. Purpose-limited access, signed release events, cryptographic deletion.
Full key lifecycle — generation, rotation, escrow, retirement, destruction — with jurisdictional key residency for DPDP, GDPR, HIPAA.
Format-preserving and vaulted tokenization for Aadhaar, PAN, PHI, PCI. Live at 180 crore records with sub-millisecond detokenize latency.
Full public-key infrastructure — root, issuing, revocation, OCSP, machine-identity, mTLS — on the same HSM root.
Every module writes to a single tamper-evident event log. One export, one signature chain, one auditor conversation.
Largest tokenization deployment in India — live in production.
Sustained cryptographic operations, single cluster.
Across banks, insurers, and government infrastructure.
India, UAE, and global BFSI · over 15 years.
Average reduction across CryptoBind-protected estates.
Faster audit closure with pre-mapped controls and one-click evidence exports.
Level 3 — tamper-evident, tamper-responsive, key-zeroed on breach.
With India’s largest public-sector insurer.
In BFSI, credibility is the conversion event.
In BFSI and GovTech, credibility is the conversion event. Compliance badges, provenance and clear technical documentation move deals further than any hero animation. We now default to “receipts-first” design on regulated-industry sites.
The category is saturated with acronyms — HSM, KMS, PKI, FIPS, DPDP, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 — and it is starved of clarity. Every vendor claims to be quantum-ready. By the time a CISO reaches the pricing page, the category has flattened itself into a single beige blur. CryptoBind’s product is not that: fifteen-year-old, engineered-in-India, FIPS 140-3 Level 3 — the highest tier a commercial HSM can carry.
The web presence now matches the seriousness of the product.
Cryptobind’s positioning as India’s HSM OEM of record has strengthened, culminating in high-profile deployments — including with India’s largest public-sector insurer to protect 30+ crore PII records. The web presence now matches the seriousness of the product.
